Durga Puja 2024
AmraSabai of Calgary Association is delighted to announce the upcoming 15th anniversary of our cherished tradition, Durga Puja on October 12, 13 and 14, 2024.
This year, we have planned a series of events, including unveiling our new Durga idol, rituals, local cultural performances, overseas artists and delicious feasts that capture the essence of this beautiful festival.
To ensure the success of our event, we rely on the generous support of individuals like you. Your contributions enable us to organize and sustain our festivities with the same enthusiasm and grandeur year after year.

Our early bird subscription is now closed. General admission to our Puja is open. We have received overwhelming responses and have already sold 80% tickets. We are requesting you to confirm your participation through the general subscription at your earliest. We will close our registration on reaching the stipulated hall capacity.
2024 Amra Sabai Durga Puja General Subscription (for 3-day event)
– $ 70.00: Single
– $ 135.00: Family of Two (Couple)
– $ 160.00: Family of FOUR (2 adults & up to 2 children of 12 years); Kids older than 12 years same household: $25 each; additional adult family members from same household: $50.00 each. No charges for additional children below 12 years of age from the same household.
Please note that the mentioned subscription amounts represent the minimum required for participation. Considering the current inflationary climate, we kindly request your generosity in helping us cover our costs.
Payment Options:
– E-transfer: Send your contribution to [email protected]. Please include your name, number of people attending (adult + kids) and provide your email address for receipt and payment details. Also include the number of family members attending.

– Venue: Airdire Town & Country Centre (275 Jensen Dr NE #103, Airdrie, AB, T4B 0G2).
– Food: Lunch and dinner will be served throughout the event, in addition to puja proshaad. Special lunches will be provided for children, and snacks and hot drinks will be available all day.
– Entertainment: Enjoy live overseas artists’ concerts and evening dances on October 12th and 13th. Don’t miss the Dashami Dance Dhamaka with DJ and a free raffle draw with exciting prizes on October 14th.
– Mela/Stall: Explore fashion items (Saree, Kids’ clothing, Panjabi, Salwar, etc.), jewelry, handicrafts, and services from local entrepreneurs.
– Food: Lunch and dinner will be served throughout the event, in addition to puja proshaad. Special lunches will be provided for children, and snacks and hot drinks will be available all day.
